ABOUT ME

Maggie is a small business owner, nonprofit founder, mother, and community leader running for Dakota County Commissioner. She brings practical leadership, fresh energy, and real-world experience to local government. 

With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and business leadership, Maggie has dedicated her career to helping people and strengthening communities. She is the co-owner of Flourish Business Solutions, which supports mental health providers in building and sustaining their practices, and is the co-founder of Flourish Wellness Collaborative, a nonprofit outpatient mental health practice. 

As a mother raising two sons in Lakeville, Maggie understands the challenges and opportunities facing families. She believes county government should be practical, transparent, fiscally responsible, and focused on results — not partisan politics. 

The daughter of a Navy pilot who served two tours in Vietnam, she was taught the values of service, accountability, and hard work from an early age. 

Outside of work and public service, Maggie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, staying active, and being involved in the community. She is passionate about fitness and healthy living, and enjoys strength training, running, swimming, hiking, gardening, and spending time outdoors. 

Maggie is running to bring a collaborative, community-focused approach to government while working to keep Dakota County a safe, strong, and thriving place to live, work, and raise a family.
